Indian Fighter Ashish Darji Wins Silver at Asian Open Cup 2026 in Armenia

BongJournal : India has earned another proud moment on the international martial arts stage as Senpai Ashish Darji of IKO Kyokushinkaikan India secured the second position at the Asian Open Cup 2026, held in Armenia.

Representing India in one of the most challenging full-contact karate tournaments, Ashish Darji displayed remarkable courage, determination, and fighting spirit throughout the competition. Despite being the smallest fighter among all participants in the tournament, he impressed judges, competitors, and officials with his fearless performance and resilience.

Reacting to the achievement, Branch Chief IKO Kisholaya Majumder expressed immense pride in his student. In a social media post, he stated that senior fighters and branch chiefs from different countries highly appreciated Ashish's performance.
